Angela Louise Wohlhutter, the daughter of Michael David and Patricia Ann (Jensen) Wohlhutter, was born on February 15, 1973, in Harlan, Iowa. She attended Harlan schools and earned her GED in 1993. Angie worked at a number of jobs, most recently at Conductix in Harlan.
Angie loved being a mother and caring for her two daughters; she always made sure the kids started out clean, but she expected them to get dirty! She also liked to volunteer to help with the kids’ activities at school. Angie loved animals and enjoyed keeping tropical fish and her cat, Tigger. Watching Michigan and Packers football was a fun pastime for her.
Angela L. Wohlhutter died on Friday, January 20, 2012, at her home in Harlan, Iowa, having reached the age of 38 years, 11 months, and 5 days.
Angie is survived by her two daughters, Kelsey McDaniel of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Jenna McDaniel of Harlan, Iowa; one sister, Melanie Henery of Harlan, Iowa; one brother, Michael (Danielle) Wohlhutter II of Kimballton, Iowa; her parents, Mike and Pat Wohlhutter of Harlan, IA; maternal grandparents, Louis and Virginia Jensen of Harlan, Iowa; her significant other, Taylor Schleis and his son, Caleb Schleis, both of Harlan, Iowa; three nieces, Rylie, McKenna, and Violet; three nephews, Sabin, Soren, and Michael; one step-son, Darrell Boyer of Neola, Iowa; and many friends.
Memorial visitation and prayer service were held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan, Iowa, with Pastor Jeff Erlemeier of Abundant Life Fellowship in Harlan, Iowa, officiating at the prayer service.
